SUNY Farmingdale Spring 2015

Has anyone else applied for Spring 2015? I sent in my application/transcripts about a month ago. I spoke to a guy in admissions yesterday, he told me in about 2 weeks letters will be going out saying to schedule interviews directly with the nursing department. After all the interviews, the nursing department will chose 50 students and acceptance letters would be going out around Dec. 1st. Does anyone know how many students typically apply to this program?

I agree.. Do you know if that applies to everyone or just yoh because you had an interview so early

I took my TEAS back in July and was interviewed the beginning of November.

Arh101609, I'm in the same position with work and I completely agree this is wrong. I still have to apply for loans which I hope I will able to get within this small time frame.

Honestly have know idea. I never stated to the guy in admissions when I took my interview but I'm guessing since I took it so early that maybe I'll get an answer soon. Who knows. But I did email a guy from the department earlier today so I will let everyone know what he says about the confusion once he emails me back! :)

I also just called admin. And they said they will start mailing out decisions on the 12th.. No earlier.. She told me on the 12 and after until I get my mail to just keep checking my oasis account.. So for the next week an a half I guess we just have to wait -_-

She told me no info will be available until the 12th but im going to keep checking anyways because they seem very unorganized

So the guy I sent an email yesterday to who is an admissions advisor and who did the nursing informational sessions said that all decisions will go out December 15th because interviews went longer than expected. Gosh so many different answers to the same question... I say just check everyday!

Thank you, ugh this makes me feel like they didn't like a large crop of the people they interviewed. I really hope we weren't any of them.

It could have just been scheduling maybe people couldn't make the days they offered so they added more days? I took a day off of work to go to my interview! Haha

Very true. I did the same and took the earliest interview and went straight to work after.
