Hi everyone!! I recently applied for the absn program at SUNY Downstate for fall 2025. I couldn't find any threads for this application cycle, so I decided to start one. I've looked through the previous ones and was able to find some answers, but I figured we should have our own. Good luck!!
Congrats to all who were accepted!
I'm praying everyday for my status to change too. I believe I saw the deadline change 3 different times for the last two cohorts (2023 and 2024). I want to believe that it would have no effect on those of us waiting to be interviewed, but it's hard not to feel any doubt. Does anyone know of someone who waited until nearly the end to get a response?

I know they still consider applicants for admission while they have pre-reqs in process. Sounds like a good thing that they're moving you forward in the process!! Good luck!

Yes - If I remember correctly, you can have 1 science prereq or 2 non science prereqs in progress when applying. I got accepted with A&P2 in progress. It's good that your status changed to forwarded to program for review, that means they're likely looking at your application.

I applied in early November and didn't have everything submitted until early December when I completed the TEAS. My application was forwarded shortly after that, and it took around 2 months before there was another update. I had the interview not too long ago and was recently accepted!!
I'm guessing they're going in order or something close to that since the first few people who mentioned being accepted said that they applied before I did.
I submitted Jan 22, but they rejected several of my documents at first and everything was accepted by Feb 4. They called me Tuesday, Feb 11 for an interview and I took the first available time which is Feb 19. They said they would follow up with a zoom link email but I haven't received it yet. Did this happen to anyone else?

What were your stats? I sent mine in Jan 28th and haven't heard back but it says program review on my application.
My original GPA was below 3 so I'm nervous about it but my science GPA was good and my TEAS scores were decent. Anyone have any knowledge about how a low old GPA affects you?

Anyone got any news on if they got in or not? I noticed on the app that they extended it to end of February? Maybe that's an error or something?
