I wanted to start a thread about the upcoming application process for SUNY Downstate ABSN. There is a fantastic thread for the previous round of applications last year, and I thought this would be a good forum for us to share any information that we might have about Downstate's admission process as we go through it together. The interview was about an hour and a half.

I also received my acceptance letter two days ago! Does anyone know what the parking is like around there? Is it hard to find parking during class/clinical times?

From what I've heard, parking is terrible during the day unless you get there early in the morning. Also, in order to use the parking garage you'll need to submit some paperwork which doesn't give a guarantee parking spot. It's based on a lottery system.
