Hello all . New to the thread. Will be interviewing soon this upcoming class. I was wondering what all of you have heard about the faculty. I'm sure all of you know about Ratemyprofessor.com. Almost none of the faculty are on the website. Find this to be rather unusual. Did they recently do an overhaul of the department? Any thoughts from the ppl who recently interviewed on how their interview went. Lastly, would any of you be commuting from Long Island? Thank you for your insights....

I was finally called for an interview today at 4pm!! I'm so excited, they finally got to me since I submitted around 11/23 haha. I think I'm part of the last round since admissions decisions are finalized December/January. Anyone going in for interviews 1/25?

I have two pending pre-reqs (microbio + anthro) will take this upcoming semester!

TEAS - reading 87.5% math 100%

cGPA - 3.6

Pre-req GPA - 3.8

Hours of medical related service - 3000+

Letter of Recs - 2 doctors, 1 nurse practitioner, 1 dentist

I also attended the interest meetings, and had my grades/stats looked over by the admissions director of transfer/undergrad as well as the head of nursing.

Does anyone know how many people they admit into the program? I read their acceptance rate is like 10% and I cannot imagine how many applicants they get (must be a very big number).

I heard that they have changed some staff, not sure if it included those that will be giving courses. My interview experience was kind of relaxed. The interviewer made an effort to inform us of the program and new changes that will arise. Also made an effort to make the interview have a relaxed atmosphere, which was good (though I was still a nervous bundle of nerves lol). The interviewer was open to answering any questions we had, whether it was about the program or regarding their experience with working in their field/specialization. Hi All,

Congrats to everyone who has been accepted or been asked to do an interview! Is anyone still waiting for an interview or an letter? I submitted my fall grades 12/26 and my status says submitted to committee for review still. My science GPA is 3.75, my undergrad was 3.2. I got in the 90s for my TEAS scores. I still have to complete my developmental psych class this spring but all other prerequisites are complete. Does anyone know when they will be done with their decisions?
