Me :). I had five classes this summer to catch up for fall (I'm a transfer student) and three 6-week classes dropped off two weeks ago. My last two classes will end early August and yes, I'm ready for them to end!
Then back again August 27, five days a week (two clinical days). I'll be using the interim time to take a little three day trip and then to organize my fall schedule (I have four kids).
I am not taking nursing classes, but I am taking A&P2, and even though I love that class and it's my ONLY class, I am ready for a break. I know once Aug 20th rolls along I have to hit the ground running, because that is my first day of Nursing school and I am excited. I am counting down the days.
I am taking pathophysiology and one nursing class- Epidemiology. I am SO ready for a break. I only get 2 weeks though and then start fundamentals at the end of August, I am really excited! I am going on vacation in a few weeks, so I am going to take advantage of that cause it will be my last real vacation til I am done in 2 years!
Me! We finish August 10 and it's a busy few weeks! We have our ATI Mental Health test, ATI Med Surg, and then 2 more test, plus our final. But after that we are off till after Labor Day!!! Of course Ill start my orientation as a nurse tech the week after classes end and the kids start school back August 17, so it's not really a break lol.
I am:) Usually psych, ob and med-surg 2 are in the fall. They offer psych and ob to students, each student gets into one class. There are about 60 of us and I was one of the lucky 10 that managed to get into both psych and ob during summer. So it is exciting but exhausting. We had 4 days off from Med-Surg 1 and then psych started. We finished psych and had 3 wks off, so that was great, and have now started ob. We will have like 10 days off before the fall semester starts though, and it will be much easier now that I have these 2 classes done.
