Summer Classes Start Today!!

Anyone else? Whatcha taking over the summer?

I'm just taking a math class that I so desparately need! First class is today! Anyone else?

I'll be taking English 300, Bioterrorism/Terrorism for nurses (elective) , and Scientific Method Nursing Research this summer, in 2 seperate sessions, an the Eng 300 class is online.

Our summer classes start June 2. I am taking Microbiology (8 weeks) and A&P II (5 weeks). There will be a three week period where I will be taking both classes. I am a little worried that the work load will be too much, but hopefully it will be okay.

I just finished 5 classes(Spring semester) and taking College Algebra and a computer class starting 5-27. Best of luck with the math........Intermediate Alg. was tough enough. Starting the RN program in August. Worked 10 hours yesterday at the hospital.

I start Stats on Tues... well, that's the day the teleweb course starts. The instructor is so rude that everyone recommends taking it over the TV. I'm also finishing abnormal psych... done in 3 weeks.

How was the Abnormal Psych class? I think it'd be definitely interesting. I liked my mental health rotation during LPN school. I had Psych but the instructor was truly weird so it was a good class to get behind me. Good luck with the Stats class.!)

Thanks Nini, good luck to you too!!! those 4 hour twice/week ENG sessions get long and hot! heheh. At least mine did - I did ENG in the first 6 week session of a summer semester too! :D I think I mentioned that to ya before though! :)

I really like my math class thus far! In fact, I'd venture to even say that I think this might be my favorite professor I've had yet!

Although I'm a bit freaked out... I think he's younger than me!!!! I'm so used to always being the youngest in things.... I don't like this getting older stuff. hehehehe. :) (no offense to anyone older, I am, of course, teasing) :D

my break is almost over with! :sniff: i start wednesday 28th of may and will be taking, psych/clinical and advanced pharm/lab.

I like abnormal psych. We have a lot of issues in our house and I can relate! ;) (That's only a small joke... our young son is autistic with bipolar disorder... we have lots of stress and meds around here!)

I notice in my class though that not many take it very seriously and psych issues are a very serious issue that nurses need to be aware of.

I am taking Chem, AP 2, and College algebra, then I'm through with pre reqs except for micro. I wanted to get the other stuff out of the way so I could concentrate on nursing this fall. I am scared though. Has anyone taken ap2 during a summer course. We start June 2.
