I enrolled in Religions of the World this semester, and had to withdraw. I'm also taking Anatomy, Chem I, and Statistics, and with my current home schedule, it was just too much. I am taking an online Medical Ethics class during the summer semester to meet my second Humanities requirement. I did what the others have suggested, and looked up the instructor on ratemyprofessor.com, and there were good reviews for her and the class. Good Luck!
I agree with tokyoROSE about checking ratemyprofessor.com for school-specific info. I know of a person who took music appreciation and dropped it early on. She admitted she took her first test and didn't get a single question correct -- earned a "0". A "0"! "It wasn't the class I thought it was going to be," she said. What may be easy in one place could be unbelievably tough in another.
I took art appreciation online. It was ridiculously easy. Don't worry about what class would be interesting, worry about getting the best or easiest teacher. My art appreciation teacher only had us write 100 words a week and do a midterm and final right out of the book. All of the answers were in a pre-made study guide. Ask around your campus as to who the easiest teacher is.

So, I opted to take Religions of the World (on line) for a humanities/elective credit and was thinking it would be interesting and easy enough since I am taking it with some other challenging classes. Much to my surprise, it is taking up SOOO much of my time
Too late to drop so I am hoping to finish with a B- at best. I'm thinking I will need to recover by retaking an elective in the summer and shoot for an A. Any suggestions on something a little easier and not so time consuming? Thanks in advance!
