I got mine from Taylor College and the experience was pretty much what I wanted. All 30 credits from one test, not too expensive, the subject matter was something I truly was interested in and the site was user friendly. I'll use it again.
how much?
$30 total. It helps to have a place you can go print stuff. The modules are long, and I prefer reading them off paper instead of staring at a computer screen. Then go back and take the test.

I do pearlsreview.com. It is not expensive to sign up for a year. You can go in and it has everything you want in every part of nursing. Even though my state doesn't require ECs I do 2 every week just for review.

Does your facility offer healthstream? I found a lot of CEU's available on there for free.

I'm not a nurse, yet, but I take free CEU's from the American association of critical care nurses to get some knowledge and don't pay cent for and love it.

Recently, I have been browsing on Medscape.nurses. They do have very interesting topics that relates to various speciality in nursing. and one could read specific articles of interest, answer the questions that follow and obtain CEUS. It is an excellent site for people in the medical field including doctors. As far as I know the CEUS are free! However, I don"t Know if you can print the certificate as soon as you are done; I don't see why not. Let us know what happen:o
