Do you guys prefer lined paper or entire blank sheets for studying?

I find that when I use blank sheets such as printer paper, I retain much more information versus if I would study using lined notebook paper.

I do both. I take notes on lined paper, then rewrite things in a sketch book (sort of concept maps). I use colors to make connections and it really helps me.

I use a computer LOL

I have been fortunate enough to have professors for most of my courses provide PowerPoints. I add in things that I think are important. The couple of classes that didn't have PowerPoints were classes that were so easy for me that I didn't need to take any notes or I could record the lecture to listen to later. I study using those and use my whiteboard. If I had to pick, I would choose lined paper only because I couldn't write in a straight line if my life depended on it.

I'm going to go against the grain and recommend graph paper! It works so well for diagrams, pictures, tables.

I've taken all my notes through nursing school on graph paper. It works wonders for me. :)
