study abroad

HI! I was wondering if anyone knew of any nursing student study abroad opportunities?

Thanks!

I know at my school it's basically impossible to do a traditional study abroad for nursing, unless you did it very early on with all pre-reqs. I've never heard of anybody doing this though. For people who can't fit in a whole study abroad, we have shorter term falculty-led study abroad opportunities for 4-6 weeks that students can do in the summer. There are even a couple of nursing specific ones to Europe that I definitely plan on doing if i can pay for it!!

I would check with your school...maybe you have something similar!

Thanks for the reply. does your school allow other students (aka-me) to do the 4-6 term programs? I'm looking for a short term study abroad op anyway.

Yea agreed. I did get to go on a Nursing department trip to Mexico to study Healthcare for a week. Although, it wasn't a study abroad trip it definately was an international experience. It was awesome!

Mex

Do you mean other students as in ones who don't go to the school?

righto!

No, as far as I know it's only our students who can go. Sorry!

I would definitely check with your school though...I know we're not the only ones who do something like that!
