Students Applying for SHSU Fall 2015 Nursing Program

Anyone who is applying to Sam Houston's fall 2015 nursing program is welcomed on this thread. Me and one other person had a conversation going on Sam Houston's Fall 2014 thread, but we decided to make our own. Please comment if you are applying! We were talking about TEAS scores, GPA, and other things on the other page and want to continue to talk about anything related to SHSU's nursing program on this page. Please make an account and comment/ask questions/share what you know about the program so we can get a good conversation going. Advisors are helpful, but so is this website, and, of course, other nursing students! :) Thanks.

Has anyone found out how many applicants there were for this semester?

I think 20 for The Woodlands and 40 for Huntsville.

I understand that is how many are accepted, but wanted to know how many people applied in total to each campus.

When I go to see the status of my application, I can no longer see it. It now says "Create New Application". I have no email. Does anyone know what this means? is it happening to anyone else? Does it mean I am denied?

The same thing is happening to me! The "Create a New Application" now appears when logging in and I haven't received an email either. í ½í¸³

It has nothing to do with us. It shows that because the application for the Spring semester starts today July 1st. Since we haven't got any acceptance/rejection email or letter, we should keep the faith.

So when are we going to hear back? Do we also get an email if we are rejected or just a letter in the mail?

Those who got accepted said they received an email and their application status changed from "Pending review" to "accepted"

I don't think so. So far, those who got accepted and who were posting here had applied to the Woodlands. So far, none from Huntsville.
