Hello CRNAS!!!

I am posting because I was thinking about going to CRNA school one day. By the time I finish I would probably be 31-32 and I would like to have my first baby probably right away. Are there part time jobs available for new mothers?? Is so, what are the hours like??

Also, for those of you who bought a house after landing a full time job- how did you handle the part time job salary after?

INFO AND ADVICE APPRECIATED!!!! :)

Yes, part-time jobs are available. The only caveat I can offer from my experience is that they prefer that the CRNA has worked full-time for the group previously. There's just too much to learn about group preferences, especially if you are working in different locations every day. It just takes a long time to work with so many physicians doing so many different procedures. And, to be fair to everyone, they do not lot allow anyone to work just one location.

Makes sense.

I'd be curious to hear more about this as I would like to do the same.
