Straighterline Anatomy & Physiology 1

Nursing Students School Programs

I am currently taking A&P 1 through straighterline. Has anyone taken or completed A&P through straighterline? I find the quizzes to be OK due to the fact that they are open book. The material is so dense and I find myself using majority of my time looking up the answers. I am afraid I am going to get to my final exam, which is not open book, and just ruin my grade. Does anyone have any tips or feedback on the final exam? Straighterline does not have a good study guide or lecture really. The material is heavy, and it is very difficult to know what what to study. Can anyone help?

Thanks for your feedback anewmanx. Do you know if A & P 2 is the same as taking physio by itself? Im taking anatomy this Summer at community college and still need physio (repeat). Is straighterline A & P the equivalent?

You will need to submit the syllabus to the school and clarify straighterline is not a regionally accredited institution but ace credit similar to clep to get that answer.

Did anyone take the A&P 1 final? How was it? I have taken quizzes 4 and 5 and got a 95% but of course I had the book to help. I am nervous the final is going to be pretty bad

I took it. It wasn’t as bad as the A&P 2 final. I went in to the final with a 95% and ended the course with a 90%. I went into the A&P 2 final with a 98% and ended with an 88%. Much rougher.

Are there any resources or study guides you used aside from the text? I wish we could use our books seeing is how all throughout the course we were able to utilize the book for quizzes.

The final for A&P 1 is easier content wise than the quizzes. A&P 2 is another story. I went into the final with no studying and did fine just by having read the book. The key is keeping your grade high before the final.

Youtube for getting a visual on the components of the body, etc. same thing I did for microbio.

It’s not that bad. You forget they are watching. Make sure to test your hardware first. Proctoru website lets you protest your setup.

It pulls from a test bank. Each final is different. That being said, there are some handy dandy quizlets out there that cover the same material in breadth. While it will not be the same questions, it will cover the same breadth of material. Some have 200-300+ flash cards.

Hello All. Does straighterline's A and P II include the lab portion?

The lab is a separate class for which you must buy a physical kit. You can buy the kit for both A&P 1 and 2 for under $300, but the lab classes themselves are $49 each. Still, occasional discounts pop up.

Thank you. So I am scheduled to complete anatomy w/lab through community college this Summer. After completion I only need the physio w/lab portion. Is there an equivalent for only physio w/lab on straighterline. Sorry, I'm just confused. I'm hoping to apply to west coast university for the fall. I have to repeat both anatomy and physio because I took them both more than 5 years ago. I am trying to avoid paying the cost it will take to complete these two classes at the university and need to complete both before November.
