StonyBrook ABSN: Class of 2021

Published

Hi all,

Thought I'd start a thread here so we can connect. I am in the process of taking my pre-reqs and plan to submit my application by the Oct 2019 deadline for the Summer 2020 start.

I'm planning on attending the Sept 19 info session on campus - anyone else going?

No they didn't. So I guess I'm good!

Does anyone know if rejections are always sent out first, or was it only like that last year?

Usually rejections are sent out first from what I’ve seen- that’s what happened when I applied to the two year (rejections were sent 6 weeks after interviews and acceptances were about two weeks after that according to the blog)

Which phone number did you use when you called?

@Brett, if accepted, do know when you must make a decision? Also, do you know if our science prerequisites are calculated into our BSN cGPA? Thanks again for all of your info - it has been so helpful!!!

Monday can't come any sooner!!!?

I can't stop checking my email. It's compulsive and probably not healthy?

Sameeeeeeeeeee lmao this is seriously not well?

Specializes in ER.

?same here. We are waiting too long.

Specializes in ER.

My interview was late October. Got accepted at NYU now but that tuition bill is making me want to wait for stonybrook.

I really cannot see them sending out decisions any later than next week between the holidays and everything so at least the wait is almost over (at least I am really hoping lmao).

I want to believe it’s gonna be Monday, but I don’t want to get my hopes up! If none of us hear anything by tomorrow afternoon, I may be tempted to call and ask if they’ve started sending out decisions yet
