Stony Brook 2yr nursing program 2010 applicants

is there anyone who applied to the 2 yr nursing program at Stony Brook?

I'm currently a sophomore student at SBU. 'For New Student' popped up under Student Admission. It only has three sub-tabs; Pay Initial Deposit/Fee, New student Preference and Advising Planning Form. It definitely wasn't there til yesterday. I've been checking Solar and mailbox every day.

When I click Pay Initial Deposit/Fee. It says my admission status is not eligible for deposit processing. Though, if I click New Student Preference, I can go through five preferences such as Housing etc etc..

I really hope it's about Nursing admissions..:uhoh3:

Hey, all!

I also found "new students" tab in this morning.

I am currently attending stony brook as a senior student, and

applied to both 1 and 2yr program for stony brook.

For one year, I was in alternative. I am not sure if it is for 1yr or 2yr program.

I am thinking it is for 2yr. Many ppl(including all my 3friends who got in one yr program) got accepted when they got "new students" tab before getting mail.

However,at that time, I called nursing department and admissions office, and they said "new student" tab means nothing..but..I doubt it. Just because I was in alternative status, they didnt want me to be depressed.. I think..

I live in dorm at Stony Brook. My solar has "new student" tab on this monday. Thing is I applied to both one yr and two yr program.

I am in alternative status for one year program. at that time, I did not have new tab. I still want to get in one yr program though!

i got a new student tab too but i havent recieved anything in the mail yet so i don't know what that means, that's y i was asking if yours changed before too when you applied to the 1 yr program

go to page 4 and u posted it there and the tab says for new students right?
