Stony Brook BSN - Summer/Fall 2011 Applicants

ok, it's never too early to start a thread about applying for 2011 ... :D ... which i am most definitely doing even though i am still waitlisted for 2010. i just won't be able to attend this year if i get in ... :(

but that's ok! i'll be done with all my prereqs and have time to write a better application (if in fact that is at all possible, you know?).

anyone else applying to stony brook for summer 2011?

Congrats to everyone being accepted!!!!! My solar is still the same... so I'm pretty sure I've been waitlisted. :( I'm pretty bummed. Can someone who has been accepted tell me when the deadline to accept admission is? Or when the deposit is due? This way I can expect when I may be hearing something.

Thank you!!! It says that we have 10 days to accept the admission. (I already accepted) Good luck to you....at least its not a denial. Fingers crossed!!:)

Hello Everyone!

Does anybody know if accepting the 2yr program reduces your chances of being taken off the waitlist of the 1yr/accelerated program? Do you think they remove your name from the 1yr waitlist if you accept the 2yr admission decision?

I applied to to RN-BSN program that is online and starts in the summer and haven't heard back yet.. The Nsg office gives the same response that they have been giving for everything.. That decisions will be made for that program by mid-April.. I view this as mid-April, so I'm getting veryyyy impatient!!! I'm addicted to refreshing Solar, and it's driving my hubby crazy :)

i'm trying to tell myself i didn't get in at all so that i'm not dissapointed. it would be a wonderful surprise though.

Thanks for the info Ruby, I have been taking the same attitude. Seems like we would have heard good news from more than 4 folks getting in? But who knows how many of those getting in post on here.
