Stony brook accelerated nursing class of 2019

Just wanted to start this thread to see if anyone else has applied to the 12 month accelerated nursing program at stony brook!

To all those who got emails back for an interview, when did y'all apply?

I submitted everything in on September 12th

I started the application back in August (if that even matters)

My recommendation letters came in first around mid September

However I did not submit everything until September 29th.

Does anyone happen to know off the top of their heads know how many applications the ABSN program usually receives, how many people the school invites for interviews, and how many seats are available? Thanks!

From previous threads I heard they receive nearly 700-800 applicants. And invite about 180-200 potential candidates to fill about 80 seats. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

@Jenel12006- I haven't heard back either. But if no one else has gotten an invite yet then there's probably more coming.

No email yet!!! Does anyone know when the second wave of invites usually happen?

Same here!! I don't know what's going on, I feel like there should have been another wave sent out already or at least someone else should've gotten an email in this forum. Weird.

When I was looking at previous forums, the next wave came one week after the first one. I would say be prepared for either tomorrow or Monday. Don't get discouraged! There definitely has to be a second wave!

Hey Did you have to make a separate account to apply to the basic program?
