Stony brook accelerated nursing class of 2019

Just wanted to start this thread to see if anyone else has applied to the 12 month accelerated nursing program at stony brook!

I checked again and did get solar email. It's from Process Scheduler

I didn't get an interview as well but got the solar email. I wonder if this means we will be getting one?

Did anyone else notice this during their interview... Jan(the very nice lady who signed us in and encouraged us to apply to the 2 yr) said that they are interviewing 170 applicants. However, in the actual interview it was said that they are interviewing 200.. Hmm, I am just unsure what the real numbers are?

It sounded like they themself don't know the statistics because Jan told me they were second in the state for passing the NCLEX and then everyone inside told me they were first in the state. Sounds like they probably don't know themselves.

I hope you all get one. Be patient. They also advised that we apply to longer program if we don't get into accelerated. It would finish up at same time as if reapplying to accelerated again.

Do you have to register a new account to make an application for the Basic program or is there a way to use the same account for the accelerated program?

Hi guys! So glad to hear of those who did well in their interview and good luck to those who have one coming up! I have mine on Monday, the 6th. I was wondering if you are asked about current healthcare policies or specific questions or are the questions more general? Also, are algebra and absolute numbers included on the math exam? I appreciate your help.

I did not bring copies of my resume nor did anyone else. I didn't bring anything other than my ID.

Where on Solar did you find the information about transcripts and letters?
