Hi,

I wouldnt give up on yourself just yet. I dont think the fact that taking your prereqs is hurting you at all and I do think a strong emphasis is placed on personal statement and LOR. Whatever happens, it will be for the best. I am sure many of us on this chat have gotten rejections from other schools or are 2nd/3rd time applying. All Im trying to say is to be hopeful and dont give up because everything happens for a reason and whatever is meant to happen will happen no matter what!

Hey guys... been pretty silent as well. Just got done with my interview on November 2nd. Went very well ! Anyone have an idea of exactly how the waves work? Do they go by the strongest applicants? Does first waves get first dibs? Just a question of curiosity. Thanks !

I am glad your interview went well! If you dont mind sharing, were the interview questions as expected? Did you feel as if you had to come up with answers on the spot or were the types of questions asked straighforward as expected? Also how was the math overall? Thank you!

The interview questions were as straight forward as possible. No curve balls at all. Just practice answering the interview questions in a way that reveals a bit about yourself and how it ties into nursing (I wish I knew this before hand, lol).

The math was like SUPER easy. Maybe practice multiplying fractions in case you forgot and converting them into percentages. Otherwise, it's very easy. No tricks.

Apparently SOLAR ID's are being given out. Does anyone know the purpose of this? Is this only for those who were interviewed or for all applicants?

Haha was just about to post the same thing. I do not understand the emails intent whatsoever especially since I have a solar account from undergrad already í ½í¸‚í ½í¸‚í ½í¸‚.

hey ! I actually practiced for a week or so with the math and interview. Every question that was asked I was very prepared. The math is pretty straight forward as well. Know your basic conversions, percentages and long division etc.

Hey Jared,

The intent might have been because of a old solar. I know mine never updated because I am still a current student at SBU. Might have refreshed your account or gave individuals new ones.
