Stony brook accelerated nursing class of 2019

Just wanted to start this thread to see if anyone else has applied to the 12 month accelerated nursing program at stony brook!

I called the school today, they said they are still reviewing applications! Let's hope this is true!!!!

Yes!! I have an interview tomorrow at 10.

I had my interview today and I think they said they were interviewing 170 applicants total. I think someone here figured out how many applicants were in the 1st round of interviews, so based on that, you might be able to judge how many more interviews may be added. I hope that made sense. í ½í¸Š

That's true! I guess it hard because we do not know exactly how many days next week they are hosting interviews. I know this week they did conduct interviews for 4 days. Next week I am only aware of 1 day as of now.

My interview is Monday the 6th at 9am, I was in the 2nd wave of invitations....I'm 98% sure when I had the chance to schedule they gave me option of nov. 2, 3, 6, 8, and 9...not totally sure if they offered either the 8th or 9th or both, but I know there were dates available for after I scheduled mine.

I was invited for the second wave also and the choices only went up to Nov 9th

Hi Guys,

Thank you for those who have had your interviews and have given us an update as to overall how the process went. Would you guys be able to let us know if the interview questions were straightforward and as you expected ? Or were they random questions? Thank you!

Hey Everyone, Ive been a silent lurker for too long, everyone's comments have been so hopeful but I'm at the edge of despair... I submitted my application on the 10/4 and still no interview email. I'm losing hope fast, I along with everyone else thought I was a strong candidate too. Im wondering if the fact that I haven't technically finished all the prerequisites is hurting my application. I'm finishing my chemistry and statistics class now, I'm going to get an A in both but how would they know that... I would be so relieved to see someone get an interview invite soon so that I know they're still looking at us.

That is an interesting point! Did anyone receive an interview and still finishing up pre-reqs at all?
