Stony brook accelerated nursing class of 2019

Just wanted to start this thread to see if anyone else has applied to the 12 month accelerated nursing program at stony brook!

Does the Solar account mean anything? Because I was told that they weren't using it anymore so I'm pretty confused. Why would the school tell me over email that solar wasn't being used for the application? Is everyone getting a solar account or those who just interviewed ?

Do you think 100% is required on interview math test? I may have missed one or two.

It would suck for that to sink my entire application. 4.0 prereq, good statement, great interview, did well on in person english essay. Good work experience.

I'm on solar and it says that none of my transcripts or letters of recommendation were received. What's going on?

If you missed 1 or 2, you should be fine I woul imagine. I think all of the other components you mentioned are much more important than the math exam. ^ mine says none were received too. However I submitted unofficial and not official transcripts for now so maybe that's why. But says no LOR's were received. I'm going to trust that if it said received where we filled out the application then there's nothing to worry about. They wouldn't have interviewed me if they had nothing lol

They only give you 20 minutes or so. I have friends that thought they failed the test and still got into the program. Don't worry about it ! I'm sure your great background and record will still help !

And for those who are unsure about documents not being received ... mine says they haven't received school documents and all of my letters of recommendation. Lol! It's ok I'm assuming. It might need to be updated or something. I had an interview on November 1st... I'm sure if they didn't receive my info, I wouldn't have gotten a interview so early !
