When I went to the information session in April, I heard something similar. Basically from what I gathered (and from a former student) classes start about 8:30 to about 5 but may end as late as 6 or 7 pm. Clinicals are usual 12 hours and could be any day of the week and may be day or night depending on instructors schedule I was told. Basically classes and clinicals combined are 5 days a week typically with the remainder 2 days dedicated to studying. Stonybrook's accelerated program seems really good but it would be too difficult for me to commit to that type of schedule especially with my family obligations and distance (I drive but would be commuting from Queens and some clinicals could be as far east as Riverhead). Going to the information session at least allowed me to have a realistic idea of what it would be like to attend Stonybrook. Good luck.
Has anyone applied and been accepted while still taking science pre-reqs? On their site is says it's best to have 3 science pre-reqs completed and right now I'm taking AP2 and Micro. Thanks!
Yes please!!!! Has anyone been interviewed yet??? Any tips / feedback? What kind of interview questions were asked? What kind of math test is administered?
