It's almost september, which means people are starting to get their applications for nursing together real soon. I'm currently in the 1-yr nursing program here at Stony Brook. I haven't, I wonder how many they accepted already. Getting a little sad.

I interviewed on November 19th. At that time they told me that we were the last group to interview. From what I'm gathering from this post, everyone who was accepted thus far had mid-late October interviews! So maybe there is some hope for the November interviewees (at least that is what I am telling myself)! I have been compulsively checking my email and solar, as I'm sure many of you have been! Fingers crossed! It seems that since that first wave of acceptances there haven't been any since?

I was actually wondering the same thing...I know past cohorts started July through June the following year right? But they reconstructed the entire program and we are going to be the first ones in the new curriculum. If you look on the SON website, the curriculum says it's broken up into 3 semesters.. summer fall and and spring so I wonder if we will be ending the program in May rather than June? Does anyone know?

Your dates are the same as ours. Our class is three semesters as well. You'll have orientation in late June/early July and will end towards the very end of May-June. Classes end towards the end of April but then you have to do capstone for a month. They have been trying to change the community clinic which is in June but I'm pretty sure you guys are still doing it in June. We walk in May but we're not done with clinicals till June (but those are easy)
