Stony Brook Accelerated Nursing Class of 2015

It's almost september, which means people are starting to get their applications for nursing together real soon. I'm currently in the 1-yr nursing program here at Stony Brook. I didn't get an email yet but I checked on Solar anyway to see if it said anything and it had my acceptance on there. So I would keep checking the solar even if you didn't get an email yet! Good luck!

Did you get the email shortly after you noticed the change in solar? I would imagine email is their primary method of notification but who knows...

Either way, no email for me yet and my solar still looks the same. I interviewed at the end of October so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed!

I am pretty positive you were actually in my interview on october 21st, over skype i believe!? I was accepted yesterday too!

Before you guys got accepeted, when you checked the status of your application, did it have a list of your reference and when the application payment was received?

I still have not gotten an email...But I was still able to accept everything fine under my solar account. Just keep checking your email and the solar account! Fingers crossed for you!

I've been following this forum for a while now but just became a member. I had my interview on the 14th of November and I haven't been accepted. Still being hopeful. Has anyone who had their interview in November been accepted?

I had my interview in November also. I haven't heard anything either yet. Maybe they are sending acceptance in order they interviewed or by the last name. But I'm hopeful!

Congrats to everyone accepted so far!! It's so exciting! I can't believe just 5 months ago I was at orientation!

Just an FYI, the admissions come in like crazy waves. It drives everyone insane. We tried to figure out a pattern to it last year(like application date, alphabet by last names etc) but there really wasn't any . It's super stressful. But just remember that most of our class didn't hear right away and a lot of people heard within a couple months of starting the program. Keep your hopes up!
