  1. Hey everyone! I'm a recent new graduate interviewing for an ICU fellowship program. I made it past the first round (yay!!!) and was told I would be called for second round of interview next week. I reached out to a couple of people are currently fellows in the program and was told that the institution will most likely ask me behavioral / clinical questions such as "Your patient is experiencing SOB, what do you do?" or "Your patient is having an allergic reaction, what do you do?" I was wondering if any of you guys have any experience with these type of questions and if you can share some clinical/medical interview questions and how you guys answered it. Thank you so much!
  2. its surprising that that voluteering at sbu has a wait list! I was able to volunteer at 18n nursing without a problem well lmk if u need the gown! It's mandatory to wear for volunteers
  3. Are you thinking about volunteering at the stony brook hospital? If so, I can give you my gown because I'm not using it anymore and it's 20 bucks for that. You're in intro to nursing with philip tarantino right?
  4. Is it necessary to get books for all the classes?
  5. Guys new open group is made! https://www.facebook.com/groups/509902869135140/ If the link doesnt work, it's called "Stony Brook BSN Class of 2016" Should work though, because the settings changed to open to everyone!
  6. Don't be discouraged yet! I interviewed the first week of the interview started and found out a day after they sent out the first batch of acceptances!
  7. Yeah I posted it! It's because your fb acct isn't linked to sbu email I'm gonna try to change the setting tonight!
  8. I just realized its because people who doesn't have their Facebook linked to sbu email can't see or join. So far I made it open so you should be able to find it but can't join :/ I'm trying to change the group to make it open for everyone but can't rn I'll fix it tonight!
  9. Im not sure :/ you can def ask that on the pre nursing Facebook group. Do you need the link?
  10. I heard back today guyssss!!!!! I got accepted Cant wait to meet all of you guyssss Join the facebook group "Stony Brook BSN Class of 2016"!
  11. Congrats guys!!! Still waiting on an email
  12. @jenster3 I'm not really sure what the prereqs are but I think they are online! And I have a friend who works as a receptionist at SON and she said Lisa Lent confirmed that they will be sending out letters this week. She also said that the letters will be sent out in waves, which is different from last year. But for sure, rejection letters come first because they don't want people getting rejected waiting around
  13. It's good that you're ready! I'm gonna need to take more courses for other schools req :/
  14. I know what u mean, other schools require more classes I'm gonna prob have to take summer classes to fulfill other schools requirements too :/ you're taking microbiology with Schmidt?? Love that guy! Haha
