Stony Brook ABSN Class of 2022

Stony Brook School of Nursing has recently opened the undergraduate application portal for the 2021 school year. I was part of an allnurses thread for their Basic BSN program last year, and the information and support from other applicants was amazing; so I jumped on creating a thread for this cycle as soon as applications became available.

Any questions or even just casual discussion about the program is more than welcome! Can’t wait to talk to all of you. ?

Yes - I’m planning on applying to Molloy, possibly Adelphi, and the associates program at my former community college. Like you, though, Stony Brook is my top choice if I can manage to get in. But honestly, I’ll be thankful if I get accepted anywhere!

I don’t believe they’ll accept an updated resume at this point. I’m sorry about that. Maybe if you send an email to the Office of Student Health Services at SBU’s Health Science Center ([email protected]) they could help you out more than I can.

Fingers crossed we both get into Stony Brook or at the very least, our second choice school. ? 

It’s fine. I’ll just leave it as is. I had a lot on my resume already. 

I haven’t heard anything either. Has anyone tried to reach out to the school? I just tried calling but the program coordinator didn’t answer. I also don’t want to be a nag but I’m eager for some information?

OMG I didn’t get one AND it’s Election Day. Not a good look for my anxiety. But for real, good luck to everyone who did get an email!!
