Still no results after 8 days...

Hello everyone!

I just took the NCLEX exam last week (Feb 2). It has been 8 days and I still do not see my name posted in the BRN website (rn.ca.gov). I stopped between 120-125 questions.

A lot of my classmates who took the NCLEX exam last year got their results within 5 days.

I guess I have to study again, but a lot harder this time.

I'm just wondering?...having no med. calculation on their exam, is that the new trend? co'z I've read that most of the people here on this site did not get any calculation at all (75 q's or more). It's been my 2nd week today, so hopefully I'll be getting my result in the mail today... I don't look at the CA BRN anymore after the the 5th day that I haven't seen my name on their site. I also did not get any calculations, mostly priority and delegation, infection control and 10 SATA's, I stopped at around 108-110 i think... All the best for those who are waiting for their results, including me!

But I still don't understand why not getting math questions can be a good thing on the NCLEX? Please elaborate further.

I did not get math questions at all and stopped at 75.... The exam was filled with questions about priorities and stupid gowns and gloves. Im only 21 years old (almost 22) and I really know that I failed. I can just feel it!

oh my..more than 10 sata?!! that's a lot! i got fewer..how i wish there's easier and more effecient ways to study these sata questions.

You should be able to go on the Office of Professions website and put in Registered Professional Nurse and your name and its listed by name and city, if you are there you passed. Easy to use.

CA is handled very differently. Average wait to see one's name up on the BRN website is ten days and can take up to a month. CA will permit a new grad to test if they trained in CA and their name is on the roster sent in by the school before their transcripts have arrived. The people that are posting above are checking the BRN website daily, that it where they find out their results in the first place since there are no other avenues open to them. We use the BRN website for verification of licenses in CA.

They also do not participate in Quick Results.

Add into it the fact that the BRN, along with most other state offices, is now going to be closed the first and third Friday of each and every month. And then add in President's Day next week and you can get the picture. Things are done here differently from every other state.
