  1. I know a few people who took the NCSBN course. All of them said that it has been very helpful to them. And yes, it's a lot cheaper than Kaplan too...
  2. I took mine on Feb 2 @ 1 pm. I actually arrived at the testing center around 12:20 pm and they let me take the exam at 12:45 pm. Taking the test in the afternoon was a lot better for me because there was no traffic and I'm not a morning person. On the exam day, I actually woke up at 9:30 am, feeling relaxed. If I took the exam at 8 am, I have to be up early and the morning commute will definitely make it worse for me.
  3. Thanks for the info. I am still waiting for my results in the mail. Took the exam on Feb 2. Don't give up. Keep on trying until you succeed!
  4. I would like to thank everyone for their input. Also thanks to Suzanne. I'll just wait for my results in the mail. A little less than 2 weeks to go...
  5. The good thing is that you did your best. The exam is over and stressing whether you passed or not would make it a lot worse. Just do something relaxing while waiting for the results. Go shopping, watch a movie with friends, workout, 3 day weekend this week, so try going out of town, etc. In other words do whatever you enjoy as long as you refrain from thinking about the exam. Before you know it, your your results are out.
  6. Congrats to you. I'm still waiting for my result...
  7. That's what I know as well. You can take it as many times as you want until you pass.
  8. Is the BRN (rn.ca.gov) website accurate? Is there anyone here who took the NCLEX-RN exam who checked the BRN frequently after 4 business days and realized that their name was not posted, but got a letter in the mail 3 weeks later stating that they passed?
  9. Good luck. I wish you all the best!
  10. rence01, Thanks for the kind words and encouragement!
  11. Shier, What were your results? I have a social security number, so I went to check my results at http://www.rn.ca.gov after 5 business days. It's been 8 days and I still have no results.
  12. Lloyd, I have a feeling you passed. Someone I know told me when you get a lot of calculations, it means you are doing badly. Since you didn't get any math questions and lots of priority questions, you may have passed. bebetisha, My transcripts were in and my file was complete when I checked with the BRN. My gut feeling really tells me I didn't make it. A lot of my classmates who took the NCLEX last year got their results within 5 days when they checked the BRN website. ONLY 1 of them got her result after 2 weeks.
  13. Lloyd, I didn't get any math questions, but had about 10-12 SATA.
  14. Congrats! I am still waiting for my results to arrive. I took it on Feb 2.
