Still no ATT.... Ohio =(

According to the Ohio Board of Nursing.... our school information was received to the Ohio board of nursing on May 27. However, they are so far behind! Last I heard they were working on information that was received on May 14th! Not sure what else I can do but sit here and wait.... This may take months! What to do?! :no:

Well I am from Ohio..I check the website almost everyday. I still haven't gotten my ATT# yet but I have everything else done. I am a retake person and it takes a short time but in Ohio it does take a while like about 3 to 4 weeks for all your paper work to be done. For me I still have to wait also but I am okay with that ..on the website all your information is there. The sad part is you can't even see the dates available for testing until you get your ATT#. I might want a date and it wouldn't be available ...I mean who knows ..Ohio is a different state ..but one good thing is you can go about 10 to 50 miles or any where in the state ...the testing center are all over the place..close to home. Be patient with them I took my retake to them in person and check later that day and it was there.. Good luck

Well, RiloAsh, perhaps I am mistaken, given Laurenann's comment. However, I am the only person in my class to have the ATT, and my status changed right before I got it. Everyone else's status still says "pending." If nothing else, *something* is happening with you application! Like I said, I was down in the dumps, and had just heard that we wouldn't test for months when I got the ATT. You're going to take the test eventually, and probably a lot sooner than the rumors would have you believe, so I stand by my suggestion to start studying! :)

Jillzy, I am most definitely studying. I hope that I get it sooner, but I'm not in too big of a rush. This class is 4 weeks and I just started. I just want my test date as a sort of security blanket and motivator. I really want to take the test in July. There doesn't seem to be a order to how they are sending these out. Stress is coming at me from all directions these days, and really thought waiting on the ATT would be the least of my worries. I naïvely assumed the state would have it together. I was wrong. Did you take NCLEX yet? I haven't done a whole lot of trolling around on here to see your other posts.

Yes I have taken my nclex-pn once back in March..2014 but I failed with all 205 questions. Now I have forward everything just waiting on my ATT# to move forward. You can't even see a date that is available until I get my ATT# that is oaky too. I been studying getting ready for the big dance...good luck

Applied to Ohio board following very early May graduation. Our director mailed our info that week and had proof of receipt by the BON on May 11. Our class didn't receive ATTs until one month later. (With the exception of one student who is ex military and received hers right away). Waiting game in Ohio sucks; however, the good news is that once you test, in 48 hours you can pay for quick results. Also, it's been our experience that one week after passing the BON has you as ACTIVE as an RN. Some of my classmates start their jobs this week. So hang in there!

RiloAsh - Hang in there. No, I haven't taken NCLEX yet (but I will be taking it very, very, frightfully soon). I started shaking when I got the ATT, and have had "nervous stomach" (to put it delicately) every day since. My stress level just slammed into high gear once I scheduled that exam. I have been studying in a state of panic every day after work, as it feels like there is no way to cover everything. Try not to worry about it -- you will be in this boat soon enough! :)

My school mailed my verification May 16th, but the paperwork my classmates and I filled out (back in September, mind you) had been updated in October, so every one of ours was expired. The OBN mailed me back my paperwork by about June 7th, and I had my ATT the 16th. Hang In there!

I know I will! I still havent gotten my ATT yet, and Im patiently(haha) waiting. I feel like once I have my date I will really begin to study. Im being lazy because I feel like I am never going to get to take the test. Im sure you will do well. Im sorry it took me so long to reply. Things have been crazy for the past few weeks. Im going on vacation in two weeks, so Im going to take all the beach bumming time to study.

I live in KY and I'm waiting on my Att also. Our school recommended that we pay for everything early so that we wouldn't run into a delay when it came time to receiving our Att but I'm not quite sure what the hold up is. It's kind of hard for me to motivate myself into studying when I'm not sure when I'll be able to test. But anywho...good luck to you!

Has anyone heard where they are at as far as a date?? Last I knew was may 19th and that was over a week ago and they are no longer telling you what date they are on just that they are getting about 150 done a day.

WOW..for me I live in Ohio..Columbus ,Ohio .But I am a retake for the nclex-pn.. I took mine down in person..downtown Columbus Ohio. By the next day I had pending on mine. Then about a 2 to 3 weeks I was approved to test the first time. Did the same thing again for the retake and the 2nd time and it was the next day..after I took it to them they process the same day, then I just paid for the test nclex $200 the next day I have my ATT#. That only really took a week all together..go on the website put in your name and it will tell you when they are in the process...good luck
