Hello all,
Well, I have posted numerous times trying to figure out the best grad program for me (that's why this grad forum is great!) and finally decided to get my MPH, my background is neonatal nursing and I am thinking of concentrating on maternal/reproductive health. I am starting july 6th (yikes) at johns hopkins in baltimore... hopefully i can get into the hang of SCHOOL again! t.

I hope it's the right choice--I am currently in the drama of trying to get a laptop. Plus I am moving in this Saturday and have done nothing...Yesterday was my last day at work which was sad, but I am still going to try per diem here and there...t.

Good luck. I start in 12 days my program. My coworker was scaring me last night with the amount of stress that she is going through in her school. My other choice. Glad I didn't pick that one, but now am petrified what the rest of the summer is going to look like.
Anyway good luck. I wish you lots of extra money come your way, and lots of free time.
thanks all...i''m sure i will need more money and time in my near future! i am stressing now too, moving in 2 days and SO not ready...I think it's called denial..t.

I Am Preparing To Start Graduate School This Fall And Will Take 3 Classes--advanced Patho, Adv. Role Development, Health Care Policy. Any Advice On These 3 Courses. Should I Take 9 Hours For Starters? Please Help!!! I Am Nervous About Obtaining My Msn. Some Say The 1st Nursing Degree Is The Hardest. Any Advice Would Be Much Appreciated.
Just wanted to give an update...well since the program is 11 months it is pretty intensive, but the material I am learning is great..except how come noone warned me about biostatistics :)...I love learning about prevention, education, and the status of health in the world..hopefully i can put it to good use..went on an international service trip over Christmas break where I got to teach community health workers maternal/newborn care, which was great too..t.
