Hello everyone,
i'm scheduled to start gcu rn-BSN on April 28th and I would like any info about your overall experience and also want to know if there are any study buddies that I can connect with that will be starting then or soon. Thank you for your imput.
Maybe we can keep this thread going for over 2 yrs like Tokmom kept hers going? I mean theirs was very informative and helpful. I just started this week so I am only a week ahead of you guys. Lets share our experiences and give each other advice.
I agree tokmom's thread is very informative. I was pretty set on attending GCU and after reading through all the post on her thread I felt that it was definitely a good decision. As you have reached the end of the week one what are your thoughts? I've enjoyed a full month off without studying anything and part of me wonders if I should have taken more time off, but I am excited about stating at GCU and it helps to have made some connections already.
Yes, I'm doing online classes. I was planning to send you a PM to inquire about your instructor to see if we were in the same class.
Murse, check the number AFTER the course name, ie..0151. An instructor can have two classes so you may not be together. Go by the number.

Murse,
This first week was easy and only about getting to know one another and the CLC agreement. My 2 co workers one who just finished and one who is in their last class both said that CLC was hard at first because no one wants to take leadership and bossy, yada yada yada they got over that and decided from the second class on, they would be the proofreader/editors (like TOKMOM) and that way you dont have to rely on someone else doing it and turning it in. I should of done that. I was the communicator trying to get things going but one person just aint cutting it and guess what? SHe is the slacker! If I would of just took charge, It would be a peice of cake the first week. I will let you know week three when the REAL paper is due..
I highly recommed one takes the lead, and gets the ball rolling.....Especially if you want to do a certain topic..as it is first come first served!
As well pay attention who is in ur group----and check the roster---as people will drop out, and they wont bother to inform you....even after they have communicated with the group.
