I hope someone can help me with this. I am the administrator of a Home Health agency. However, my CEO has asked me to research and start the process of opening a free outreach clinic. This would only be V/S and simple nursing assessment. Lots of education and medication management. I am not finding anything online to help with this. I want a good disclaimer for my RN that will be working the clinic. Any other advice or resources would be extremely welcomed.
Thank you in advance

If you are looking to create a disclaimer wouldn't you want to consult an attorney in your area? I would imagine that local laws would significantly impact your liability and what you can and cannot include in a disclaimer.
I do have our attorney working on the disclaimer for nurse protection. Quess I was really hoping for some ideas on setting up the clinic. Must not be a topic of interest though.

Sounds like a great idea. It's all about location. More than likely you will need to go to areas where your patient demographics are: mall, barber shops, big events like a fair or festival, etc. I would ask your local MD's office if they have any new MD's looking to build their practices as well for reference to patients with no PCPs.
Thank you for the ideas, I will certainly add those ideas to my list. I am still interested in additional thoughts on how to actually run the clinic. We have the main building and one nurse, with second one considering the offer.

You should get some LPNs on board for cheap / effective nursing labor!!

LPNs are not cheap labor :-(
$13.65/hr was my starting rate at the hospital 2 yrs ago. Considering the LPN scope of practice in comparison to the pay. It is a Big Bang for ur buck... For such a Big Bang, I dare call it cheap, effective, labor.
Unless u replace with medical assistants for $9-$10/hr and then u could get cheaper. However, I'd like to think of a clinic like this as very much a nursing endeavor and I think higher standards could be met with clinic nurses.
Around here LPNs start in upper teens to 20/hr. It's less than we're worth. But LPNs should never be viewed as cheap labor.
Completely agree. But from a monetary stand point at the rate I quoted (13.65/hr) can you see my point ?
I'm sure there are plenty of Nurses who would volunteer. That's cheap labor.

You could get nursing students, too. That would be fabulous experience for community clinical.
