Oh nevermind further down it says relevant department certifications so I'm guessing it may just be a requirement after you get hired into a specific unit.

I feel you

but ik in Palo Alto that they pay for ppl's ACLS. I'm assuming Tri-Valley would do the same.I already have it because other programs require it at the time of application

Does anyone actually have an ACLS certification like it says is required in the application? I can understand BLS, but a several hundred dollar advanced course for a new grad nurse seems excessive as a prerequisite to apply.

I was thinking about doing ACLS to make myself look more appealing on these applications but when I saw how much it was I decided not to haha. I think some hospitals will pay for you to get it or certify you for free if they require it so I figured I'll just wait on it.

I went ahead and got my ACLS before I graduated.  I wanted to do PALS too, but I need to wait for my first paycheck. ?

I got my ACLS as well last month. It's expensive af but I just bit the bullet considering how competitive these new grad programs are, especially in the bay. I definitely think it helps bc during my Unit interview at palo alto they specifically if I had ACLS. Im a back up for that unit in case one of the other hires doesnt go thru as planned. But I think me not having my RN just yet is what didn't get me the job /: which kinda sucks cause I have it now LOL

@Sandrak I just submitted my application! Also, for the email questions, how long did it take for you to get it?

Yes. When I replied back with the questionnaire I included it in a pdf version.

You could probably scan your paper copies with genius scan and save as a pdf.

I received a response just under 2 weeks from the application submission.

I saw a few previous chats talking about transcripts. Apparently they can either be official or unofficial.
