  1. Congrats to everyone who got an interview! LOL I didn't hear back for this one but ended up accepting an offer at lucile packard. It just goes to show everywhere is different! After going through 5 interviews now, 4 of them being panel interviews w/stanford and lucile packard my most important advice is to SMILE & make eye contact! I noticed a lot of people were overly serious & not connecting w the interviewers. People remember how you make them feel first and foremost, so if you're able to show a bit of personality while answering the questions you will be remembered! Remember they are also looking to see how you would fit into the unit bc lets be honest, anyone can answer interview questions but not everyone will necessarily fit into that unit culture etc. & of course have scenarios that can fit into multiple categories of questions. Adding in words like "family centered care, evidenced based practice, safety" they love to hear! Good luck you guys ?
  2. Were they mostly behavorial or did they ask you evidence based questions as well?
  3. Anyone whose interviewed so far.. any tips? How many questions were you asked? Was it different questions for everyone or the same?
  4. Hello! I was curious if you have any tips for the OB/maternity interviews? I have the panel one this week for the fall cohort. Thanks ?
  5. Got this as well. Just emailed them to see but maybe they will schedule our times for us?
  6. I got my ACLS as well last month. It's expensive af but I just bit the bullet considering how competitive these new grad programs are, especially in the bay. I definitely think it helps bc during my Unit interview at palo alto they specifically if I had ACLS. Im a back up for that unit in case one of the other hires doesnt go thru as planned. But I think me not having my RN just yet is what didn't get me the job /: which kinda sucks cause I have it now LOL
  7. I applied to LPCH for L&D/maternity. Haven't heard back yet either
  8. Thank you!! That's super helpful. I plan on doing the app this weekend, just passed my NCLEX Wednesday so I wanted to wait for that first
  9. thanks for starting this thread! do you guys have any idea what units they hire for?
  10. Did anyone else apply for OR?
