Application process began yesterday and I don't see a thread for it yet. This is for the location in Pleasanton CA.
Good luck to all those applying!
RN Residency Program Timeline:

August 16-18, 2023: Interviews
October 2, 2023: Residency Begins
Im constantly checking my emails LOL
Im so nervous honestly... Im like overthinking a lot of my answers on the questionnaire. And as im doing research on more reaidency programs in the bay area, a lot of them are closed? so Speing cohort I guess???
Also for those applying to Kaiser, did u guys take an EKG class in college or did u do it outside? Becaause I want to apply since I did my preceptorship in Kaiser. I, stupidly, didn't take the opportunity to do an EKG class in college. I wonder if y'all know any online ones

when I applied for the Kaiser Residency Program this Summer they really seemed to encourage the EKG course.
Someone on one of these forums found one online for free. It's just the basic one but I'll send it to you once I'm home (I bookmarked it on my laptop). It's actually pretty cool and helpful.

This one gives you a certificate after you pass the basic course, but you have the option of purchasing two harder-level courses as well. One person who applied to Cohort 6 said it was approved prior to submitting it in the application so she went with it. Plus, it's free!
This literally helped me understand EKG's better than any of the classes I took in nursing school. Maybe I'm just slower with it but mannn those things are tough and it takes a lot of practice!
Our professor gave us the link for the simulator game - but you don't get a certificate for that one. Here's the link in case you want to practice it.

Everything is quiet over here. Just the thank you reply when I submitted by questionnaire. I hate the waiting part. LOL
