I saw a few previous chats talking about transcripts. Apparently they can either be official or unofficial.

Same I just got it LMAO! I guess theyre going to get my officials hahahahaha

I'm having a dilemma y'all and I want to see your insight.

I went to an interview today for a hospital and I got offered a position in their new grad residency program starting in November. It's a beautiful quiet area and it's a smaller hospital which I like. I'm not sure what the pay is yet but I'm looking to negotiate.

I just got this email from Stanford and let's say I get the interview, should I continue with the interview? I don't like burning bridges with hospitals and what not. I've always wanted to move up North and experience new things (esp since my boyfriend is moving up north for his 1 year long fire program). I really like Stanford and I feel like this is a redemption moment for me since I bombed the Palo Alto interview (LOL). But I also really liked the hospital I was offered today.

What do you guys think I should do?

Oh my gosh! They must've changed it because mine just had official! ?? I wonder if that generated a bunch of emails/questions so they changed it?! LOL

I thought it was odd that they wanted official!

Also, Congratulations! ?? ??????

Congratulations on the job offer!! ??????

If it were me I would continue to see what Stanford might have to offer, but it's going to be a little while before you'll know for sure.

If you are happy with the smaller location and quiet hospital it sounds like a great opportunity! Might be a good fit if you're continuing online with school as well?

So many options! What floor would you be working on? What benefits do they offer? What's the program like? How long does it last? Do you like their computer system? Is it close to home or will you commute?

So excited for you!! ??

Hi, thank you for starting this thread. I applied as well, I received an email to fill out a supplemental questionnaire. Have you heard anything back?

I think it depends on what your desired unit to work on is and if they offered that to you at this smaller hospital. If you were able to get an offer in a more competitive unit I would take the job offer, do a year there to get the experience under your belt and then you'll have no problem transferring up north. It is much harder to get specialty jobs as a new graduate nurse in the bay area.

Thank you! I think my rabbit hole of researching these hospitals and stuff is scaring me even more. Ik hospitals everywhere are short staffed but geeeez the turnover rates are so high!

Got an email an hour ago with a "thank you" so I'm assuming I submitted everything I needed LOL. Now it's a waiting process! I wonder when they'll start sending out interview invites? I also wonder how many people theyre going to accept?? It's sounding pretty competitive considering the select number of units/specialties theyre offering

Any word yet regarding interviews?
