Hello everyone,
I just wanted to submit this here to start a place where all of us who have applied to Stanford's nurse residency program can communicate. This is for cohort 39, which has a start date of August 21, 2023. I hope we all get in!

I've seen a couple people mention research, but I was under the impression that you were ultimately float pool most days unless there was a patient admitted in a clinical trial, at which point you would handle their care. I did put this in my top 3, so I'm just trying to confirm.
I picked "research". I am not sure if they float when there are not patients. Did anyone else pick research?

It's so hard waiting but it's still the first day. I'm anxious too as I haven't heard back. I was reading cohort 38's thread and some people got interviews after the stated dates so there's lots of time! ??

Hi! I am an out of state applicant myself (Las Vegas). Moved here from CA to attend nursing school.
As far as preference, it's all about how well your application scores as they base it off your responses to the essay questions, resume, etc. So it's fair game amongst anyone!
