Hello everyone,
I just wanted to submit this here to start a place where all of us who have applied to Stanford's nurse residency program can communicate. This is for cohort 39, which has a start date of August 21, 2023. I hope we all get in!

Good luck everyone!
One question - when do we hear back from them IF they want to do an interview with a chosen applicant?

According to the webinar video, the panel/unit level interview is 6/19-6/30

Does anyone know when the latest to take the NCLEX would be if Stanford wants us to have it by July 28? Does it really take 6 weeks for us to get our NCLEX results?
I can't speak from personal experience, but a friend of mine was able to take his test 1 month after graduating and received his results by the middle of the week after. That being said, the same school had taken 3 months to submit transcripts to the board for the semester prior to his. So I think it's less about how long after taking the NCLEX it takes to get your score and more about how long it takes to get the ATT due to school and board hold-ups.

For me I took my NCLEX on February 18, graduated December 20, 2022. I got my ATT (authorization to test January 18-19, 2023)A day after February 18, I was able check the RN.ca.gov site for your results and to show that I passed. Hope this gives an idea!

You are able to check results unofficially after a few hours and officially within 48 hours. I'm not sure if it's the registration and certificate that comes in the mail that Stanford is looking for which took around 5-6 weeks for me. Good luck with everything!

Hi! Has anyone heard about the research residency program? I am very interested in reseasrch and put that as my first choice, but I have no idea what it will entail.
Good luck to everyone!
Hello! They talked about this during the q&a. Pretty much research nurses care for patients undergoing studies. You won't be doing research as a nurse, it's direct care. ? hope this helps!

Has anyone received any email since applying? or any sort of communication regarding further steps?
