Hello everyone,
I just wanted to submit this here to start a place where all of us who have applied to Stanford's nurse residency program can communicate. This is for cohort 39, which has a start date of August 21, 2023. I hope we all get in!

I know this isn't the answer to your question, but may I ask when you received your call back? Congrats on getting a second interview!

Congrats on getting a second interview! I received a callback for one today as well, but I too did not receive an email yet. I think it will probably be sent closer to our interview date. Good luck!!

ikerr said:That was the toughest interview. I really prepared for it but my anxiety took over big time. Other candidates may have had a different (positive) experience (and kudos to you) but I want to be REAL here for a second. All 4 of my candidates and I were BEYOND nervous. We were shaky in our voices the entire time but we remained professional. One candidate left the interview mid-way because they couldn't find an answer to the question. I felt SO SAD for that candidate.... AND it almost happened to me!! I couldn't answer one of the questions because I did not have experience related to it so I had to share another similar experience to the best of my knowledge while remaining under 2 mins. I don't know guys.. it was a horrible, neutral experience for me and probably for the candidates that I was with as well.
I am still waiting to hear back at this moment in time. I am still recovering from it and taking it as a positive experience for future interviews. But, if I do not get a second interview, I am not going to be upset... I should never have to feel that much anxiety and tension in an interview ever. So words of advice.. do the best you can, show your personality, and take it as a learning experience. Don't ever get yourself down if you feel like you weren't good enough. YOU are enough and be kind to yourself during this job hiring process for any hospital. You will soon find your place in life.
Hopefully, my vulnerability will make others feel less alone. I wish everyone the best and send all my support. xx
I and the rest of us who is going through this needed this... Thank you so much...!
Hey everyone! I interviewed today for the AAU medical umbrella unit, and I was curious if anyone got a call back yet? The anticipation is killing me. I had a lot of good candidates in my call, and I've got my fingers crossed that the panelists aren't overlooking me because the other candidates were so good... LOL.
