Hello everyone,
I just wanted to submit this here to start a place where all of us who have applied to Stanford's nurse residency program can communicate. This is for cohort 39, which has a start date of August 21, 2023. I hope we all get in!

It was an unnecessarily intense experience and not in a constructive way. As someone else said in this thread, their interview style is not a great way to judge character nor capability as a nurse. The militant-like tone they use to ask questions just added to the tension that everybody was feeling so it's hard for most people to be themselves under those conditions. No matter the outcome, congratulations and great work and effort to everyone that has made it through their interview(s)! Remember that Stanford doesn't define your value or worth as a nurse. ♥️
I agree, I definitely messed up on the intro and first question but I still managed to get a call back! U never know! I cried so hard after my interview bc it was so intense LOL

I've been wondering the same, since I also haven't gotten a call back either. Do you know of people who heard from Stanford right after their panel?
I've been reading previous posts on this forum and it looks like people were getting call backs fairly quickly >.< Maybe im tripping. I hope I am LOL. Someone also said that the medicine division would be giving offers until June 30th but IDK? Is that too late?

I think it depends on the unit we're interviewing for. Since the AAU has more sub-units compared to other hospital specialties, it might take them longer to send out phone calls. Atleast that's what I'm telling myself ?

They said they wound call by the end of the day Friday. There is still time!

If anyone was waiting for Surgical AAU division 2, I got a call this morning for my second interview for Hepatology, Nephrology, Liver and Kidney Transplant on Wed afternoon. Keep your ringers on!!
Thank you for letting us know!
And congratulations!
Was your first interview on Wednesday or Thursday?
Hi all! Just finished my second interview with onc! Wow, it was waaaay less stressful than the first panel interview. So those who are preparing for the second round, just be yourself! Feel free to send me any questions, happy to share my experience with others.
good luck to those who are still waiting and those who have moved on!
