Stanford Nurse Residency August 2023 Cohort 39

Hello everyone, 

I just wanted to submit this here to start a place where all of us who have applied to Stanford's nurse residency program can communicate. This is for cohort 39, which has a start date of August 21, 2023. I hope we all get in!

Hey! If it helps, I got a call back for a second interview (Surgical Division 2) today. I had my panel interview yesterday! Thought I did horrible as I bombed one question, did so-so on other questions, and kept stuttering here and there ?

has anyone heard back from surgical AAU division 2 yet & had their panel interview yesterday in the afternoon? I know people who got a call back but theirs was in the morning. they told us they would get back to us today. just feeling really anxious..

Wondering the same for anyone who interviewed on. Wednesday for same unit

So I just finished the 2nd interview for the Observation Unit. I don't think it went well? Haha did anyone else only have like 5 questions? I had no behavioral based questions, they asked me:
Why Stanford, what my hobbies are, strengths and weaknesses, what I look forward to as a new grad, short and long term goals.. and then I had questions for them. The interview was like 30 minutes. Did anyone else experience this?

I haven't had my interview yet but a friend of mine had the 2nd one for onc and those were basically the questions they were asked! Said it was more of a "get to know you" type of interview and was very relaxed. But they did get asked one clinical scenario! I wouldn't sweat it just yet if I were you! As long as you showed your authentic self and showed your personality!

Yes! I got a call back today in the afternoon to schedule a 2nd interview.

Had second interview for ED this morning, got verbal offer via phone call around 3:30pm. Congrats to those of you who'll be joining me in cohort 39 - can't wait to meet you guys!

My interview was on Wednesday and they called me last night (Thurs evening) to the unit interview! 

*Correction - Sorry, I interviewed for Medical AAU Div 2. I misread this!

By any chance, did they tell you if they were still calling people? ? At this point I've lost hope and just need closure LOL

Oh! Also, what time did they call you? ? Sorry for so many questions. I just wish I stood out to them??

They didn't say! In the interview, they just said the earliest they'd call is Thurs evening but not when everyone should hear by ?
