I just read on the Stanford career site that as of today they are taking applicants for a new RN training program and I have read that many of you are looking for such programs.

Oh boy, people! I've read through all the comments and my hands got really clammy! haha :p Just out of curiosity, do your statuses in the "Application Status" of your Stanford Hospital Job Application website still say: "Application in Review"? If so, I hope that means we still have a chance of receiving a phone call for an interview!

Good luck everyone. :up: And I got the same information when I received the initial telephone interview: over 700 applicants, less than 1% will be selected, don't call us--we'll call you because of all the phone calls we'll be receiving, we'll call back in 2 weeks, etc. Hmmmmm...

i got my rejection email today :( not that i had my hopes up... but it would have been great practice to have an interview!

No, I havent heard anything since the telephone interview. I am hoping this week we all should be hearing from them. Goodluck to everyone out there !!!!!

Still nothing? Has anyone called them since your phone interview?

I am contemplating a follow up call but they seem to have a very "don't call us, we'll call you" attitude. I'm sure 700 applicants calling you is not fun.

Any suggestions?

I did call and manage to get a hold of someone. They said that they will let all candidates know between 18th to 22nd january. Hope this helps !!!

Loma6855, I totally feel you on that one! I had the same dilemma going on inside my head because they really seemed like they did not want to be inundated with phone calls! haha But then there's that urge to follow-up. :p Oh, the frustration...
