Already have an Associates degree but want to be a nurse?
If you know which Universities you are interested in, go directly to their websites and search their nursing department website. Specific info on their programs should be listed. UCF has an info session on Monday (Feb 1) which is required from what I could see on their website. That's a great place to get most your questions answered that weren't answered on their website. Good Luck :)

If Nurses were paid $8.50 per hr, would you or would you not
Some new grad positions only pay about $25/hour and that's in California!! I should've saved on the student loans and got into cleaning houses.

Rules regarding working as a CNA after getting RN lic
I am a new grad RN and finding it beyond difficult to get work. It's really difficult for those of us with no connections to get hired right now. Is there any rule that specifically prohibits an RN from working as a CNA? I'm hoping that maybe this way I can get in through internal hiring. I am in California if that makes a difference.

Do new grad have a limited shelf life
I am a new grad and haven't found a job yet and am getting worried that I am going to soon become "unhireable". Is there a point after which managers are going to simply pass over my resume and only consider those who have more recently graduated? If so, when is that point?
