Just wanted to start a page where people can update each other as we all apply to stanford's new grad program! ?

Thanks!
I'm an OR RN at Stanford and that will be an AAU (Acuity adaptable unit) not ICU.
I decided to withdraw from the interview process and pursue another offer since I was invited to interview for med surg and my passions really lie with critical care. Hopefully my spot will open up to someone awesome!
After the webinar yesterday, I felt a strong disconnect moving forward with the interview process after they suggested talking about the interest you have in the units you were invited to interview for. I couldn't help but think: it was my 3rd choice, and I only made the choice because I had to! I know there is some mobility to eventually work in a different unit, but I want to jump in right away on a unit I have a strong interest in.
Good luck everyone!

Best of luck to you as well! I understand where you are coming from - I too am shooting for a career in critical care. I am optimistic about the mobility as well as the learning environment in the AAUs, though I would prefer to start in ICU too. I 100% feel you.

Yes, I am waiting for my ATT. The board said they're processing transcripts received 11/1 - 11/15. I have no yet set up a breeze account but that shall be my project in the next coming days. My school left us with no instruction so I'm forced to wing it - from what I understand as long as you create a breeze account before your transcripts get processed there should be no delay with your ATT/testing, but I could be wrong.

Congrats on the interview invite! I also received an invitation for clinical trials. Were you able to schedule in the 26th because I was unable.
