Stanford New Grad March 2022

Published

Just wanted to start a page where people can update each other as we all apply to stanford's new grad program! ?

I was asked to interview for "medicine division 1" for the 24th. I have not gotten my NCLEX date yet but hopefully soon. Good luck everyone!

Congrats everyone ? All their medical and surgical units are AAU's (Acuity Adaptable Units). My understanding is they combined their intermediate ICU and med-surg units into AAU's so that patients don't have to move around as much when acuity levels change. Hope that helps!

Just got an email confirming an interview for surgical division 2. The email let me schedule for the panel interview and let me choose between Jan 26th or Jan 27th.

Hey! Was wondering if you could share what units are interviewing for surgical division 2?

Hi Everyone!

I also got offered for an interview for the Preop pacu unit and I'm super nervous. How are you guys preparing for your interview? Any tips are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Congratulations! May I ask if Pre-op/PACU was your first choice?

That was my first choice too. I doubt I'm getting an interview thou. It's been over a week and I'm still getting nothing. I'm happy for everyone who got invited for an interview. Good luck to everyone!

There are still sending out interview invites so hold out hope. I got my second choice, not my first. So you may still get an invite with your 2nd or 3rd choices.

don't lose hope! I believe they are still sending oit invites too! We are all in this together ?

I still haven't heard from them. I'm starting to think it's a no ?. Do they send out rejection emails before panel interviews?

I think because there are so many medical and surgical units they just divide them into 2 divisions for panel interview purposes
