I decided to withdraw from the interview process and pursue another offer since I was invited to interview for med surg and my passions really lie with critical care. Hopefully my spot will open up to someone awesome! After the webinar yesterday, I felt a strong disconnect moving forward with the interview process after they suggested talking about the interest you have in the units you were invited to interview for. I couldn't help but think: it was my 3rd choice, and I only made the choice because I had to! I know there is some mobility to eventually work in a different unit, but I want to jump in right away on a unit I have a strong interest in. Good luck everyone!

I replied to the interview email and asked. AAU = med surg. I took the NCLEX out of state and began the endorsement process in December. I also received my temporary license.

I just learned that the Division 2 AAU units are med surg!

Does anyone know the rough timeline for hiring? Curious about the approximate gap between offer letter to the start date. I have a start date for another position at the end of February and wondering if I should push it out, just so both the team and I have enough room to make plans. They are staggering orientees through this period so moving the date wouldn't be a big deal, but I don't want to push it out if I'm not hired at Stanford.
