Hi guys, with the program application about to open I thought I would make a thread!

They answered some questions afterward in the part that was not recorded -- but answers some of the questions flying around this message board, so wanted to share here. They said 800 people applied for the residency, 450 interview invitations will go out, and they are looking to hire 80-100 residents. They also said they are about half way through sending out invitations to interview but all interviews will take place the week of 1/23.
Hope this helps clarify some of the floating questions!
Did they go into any detail roughly how many people they hire in each unit or based on need?
They didn't, but they did highlight that they would be interviewing ~20 for clinical trials, ~20 for float pool, ~40 for critical care, and 80 for each oncology, surgical AAU and medical AAU. So we think you can sort of deduce from there the ratios that might ultimately be hired to make up a class of 80-100.

Thank you for the info! Did they say when they would complete interview invites?

Radio silent over here as well. I wish they would send an update e-mail saying if you don't receive an invite by this time on this day then they've decided to move forward with no offer.
My understanding from the meeting was that they are going to hold off on telling anyone they didn't get an interview because people might turn the interview down or cancel later (get an offer somewhere else?) and so you could potentially get called through the week of the interviews.
They also had said that the main interview invites would be going out through today, and there had been various delays because of weather.
I totally get how draining it is to wait for these emails!

Thank you for being so encouraging! Good luck to you, I'll keep my fingers crossed for us both!
