Stanford March 2023 New Grad Program

Nurses New Nurse

Published

Hi guys, with the program application about to open I thought I would make a thread!

Hello! And good luck everyone ? Random question: I know they rank our application by points. Does anyone know the points given to every section on the application? For example, does someone with more volunteer experience get more points on their application? Thank you in advance!

Does anyone have any insight on what clinical trials entails?

I'm not sure if this is just a glitch on my end, but when I go to fill out the application it's completely blank for the "Application Questions". I know Stanford usually has 4 short essay questions needed for the application but I cannot see them. Anyone else have this problem?

Hm I didn’t have this problem. I would try opening the application on a different browser.

What units did everyone apply to? I did oncology and nurse research. Not really sure what nurse research is but trying to keep my options open LOL

I actually have the same problem, when I applied the four questions didn’t pop out. p

I tried on multiple different browsers with no luck. I emailed the info email address they provided, I can let you know what they say!

Out of curiosity, are you reapplying? I applied for the August 2022 and didn't get an interview, so I'm wondering if this glitch is due to the system somehow saving my old answers?

Did you figure anything out?

this is my first time applying. I am kinda worried.

Does anyone possibly have info on what the essay questions were? I couldn't attend the online seminar I would at least like to know what they are to draft them and have them ready just in case.

Have you emailed them at all?

yes

I used Chrome and I could see the questions. I applied to #1 ICU, #2 Clinical Trials, #3 Oncology. I am pretty disappointed that OR, PACU, and ED were not options as well.

They emailed me a specific link to use that shows the questions, did they send you the same thing or do you need the link?
