St Philip's College LVN Spring 2015 Applicants!

Hey guys! Turned in my application in the middle of October and am impatiently waiting for the end of the month when we find out if we made it. :)

Does anyone off the top of their head know the hours for the daytime program? I'm blanking and can't remember. Also, does anyone know how competitive the program is or what GPA they're accepting right now?

do yall know when we are registered for classes? loans are forgiven after 10 years for nurses

I signed up for an info session with project quest this January. How does it work? and how do you qualify?

They're going to qualify you based on a basic test they give you [to make sure you're college ready], and then again based on past school performance and income. They'll have you bring in difference documents and talk to you about your options and what you want to do. If they accept me, they said they'll pay half of my tuition and fees for a one year program.

Have made the appointment to get fingerprints done? The email is kind of confusing.

I'm gonna schedule mine for next week. I was confused about the fingerprint card part but I think they're saying the bon is no longer sending out the blue cards they used to when your background was cleared. Otherwise just complete the online stuff, complete the fast pass then schedule your appointment.

I've already been dps cleared to attend field trips & class parties at my daughter's elementary school. And I've had a background check done through morpho trust too for x-ray or phlebotomy, can't remember which one. Since these 2 are working together with the bon I'm hopeful I'll still be cleared & the tickets don't show up. :nailbiting:

I scheduled my fingerprints appt for next week but it never gave me a chance to say I already had a FAST pass. The email one says TX920440Z for the ORI# and it says Texas Board of Nursing, but the one it registered me under was Texas Board of Nursing Examiners with a different ORI#. Do you think that'll be a problem?

Crap, figured out what I did. Gonna call Monday to see if they'll switch the ORI# for me through the customer service line.

What did you figure out? I'm having the same issue but I followed the instructions & entered the ORI from the email. I still got a different ORI online.

I scheduled my appt for tomorrow (sat) just to get it over with. I'm going to bring both fast passes & see what they say.

I chose the link that said Nurse Licensing instead of All Others. :/

Let me know what they say about the ORI being wrong!

I almost picked that too lol. Ok I got my prints done today at a gun range. Hearing gunshots as you get out the car is kinda scary lol. Anyways they were very professional & I was in & out in 10min.

I was told that the there are 2 ORIs, 1 is for the school & the other is for the BON. She filled out the forms & said students usually take one form to the school & 1 to the board. I told her we didn't get that info so maybe other schools are different. I double checked our instructions & it says we keep those for our receipts & the tcn number at the bottom is for tracking or something. She also said results can take 1-3 wks.

So which ORI did your prints get submitted under? Did they have to switch anything? Just figuring out if I should call before I go Tuesday.

I was told that the prints are sent to both the school & the TX BON. The ORI I have from the 2nd fast pass is tx923490z is yours the same?
