Yes, gotta have it before clinicals for sure. It took 10 days to get mine but that was through the Christmas holiday so that's probably longer than normal.

Did you get your books on Craigslist? I looked but I could only find a few. I'm thinking about just renting the more expensive ones from Amazon & just pray I can get the city's program to pay for them this summer.

What about books & tuition? I heard they give gas cards too but I guess it depends on their available funds.

I looked on Craigslist but only found a few books . Don't laugh but I'm a lil ocd about used books. The germ factor grosses me out because they can't ever be sanitized. Don't get me wrong, I can handle a patient's poop, pee, boogers, etc. As long as it's not in my home lol.

I just got awarded a 500$ nursing scholarship from the school! Too bad it only covers half of the costs of my books lol

I found a good study app for Android called NCLEX PN Mastery. You should try it since you can't get to your a&p stuff.

I was told they basically accept everyone who passes the entrance exam but I don't know if she was just being a hater or not. She was going straight for the ADN @sac & told me lvn would be a waste of my time. I asked the girl at the office when I turned in my app & she said it's anywhere from 150-200 that are accepted but idk how many applicants there are.

Oh really. I have to take nutrition through the program. It's online so I hope it won't be so bad

She just told me to bring in your unofficial transcript showing you passed with C or better

Thank God it isn't all day every day. I'm sure during the summer or maybe closer to the end it will be a full schedule. I sent Peggy an email about dropping growth development but haven't heard back yet. I could drop myself online but I'm scared lol

I got a blue card in the mail from the board of nursing saying my background was clear. The card you're thinking of is the fingerprint card for those who want to mail it in instead of doing it electronically.

E. Have you gotten your blue card from the board yet? I thought they were registering us when they get our cleared background check.
